AC&F photo

The Lehigh & New England ordered 100 of these gondolas from AC&F in May 1934. These 50-ton capacity cars entered service in the 10298-10397 number series. Most of these cars remained in service until the railroad ceased operating in 1961.

The kit consists of the following parts:

  • One-piece resin body
  • Floor and detail parts
  • Tichy AB brake system parts
  • Tahoe Model Works Coil-Elliptic 50-ton trucks
  • Decals for LNE reporting marks

The modeler is to supply any small styrene bits, chain, couplers, weight, wheelsets, and small screws needed to complete the model.

Resin Car Works would like to thank the following rail historians and modelers for their high quality work. Without their efforts, these kits would not have been produced.

Tom Madden - casting work
Ken Soroos - decal artwork
Jerry Hamsmith - kit instructions, and model photos
Ed Rethwisch - model photos
