Extra Data for Enterprise Twin Hopper Car Models - Kits 2.01 through 2.04

Each of these chiseled offset-side hopper kits were a one-piece resin body casting with detail parts, Accurail AB brake set, Tichy hopper weights, and Microscale decals. Everything else, like trucks, couplers, eyebolts, stirrups, wire, etc., was supplied by the modeler.

Kit 2.01

This kit followed prototypes manufactured for the Illinois Central by a variety of builders, including the railroad itself. From 1937 to 1949, 12,000 of these offset-side twin hoppers were added to the fleet

Resin Car Works would like to thank the following rail historians and modelers for their high quality work. Without their efforts, these kits would not have been produced.

Ed Hawkins – prototype research
Aaron Gjermundson – resin casting
Tom Madden – resin casting and master pattern work
Bill Darnaby - kit instructions and model photos
Ken Soroos – kit instruction coordination and decal artwork
Dave Campbell - decal artwork
