Model and photo by George Toman
This mini-kit includes resin parts to transform an HO scale C&BT Shops AAR 40-foot double-door box car kit to follow a 1945 Santa Fe prototype built by Pullman-Standard. These cars had fishbelly side sills to support the 14-foot wide door opening. 500 of these cars were installed in the 64200-64699 number series.

This mini-kit includes the following:
- Resin detail parts and floor
- C&BT Shops box car kit
- Custom decals covering the prototype number series
The modeler will need to supply additional parts to create a finished model. The parts list is included in the directions. Yarmouth Model Works etched metal ladders and detail parts are noted. These may now be availbae from Speedwitch Media.
Resin Car Works would like to thank the following rail historians and modelers for their high quality work. Without their efforts, these kits would not have been produced.
